Truck Chips

         The increasing cost of fuel has a big impact on your profits.

By fitting our “Truck Chip” these costs can be substantially reduced.
Our “Truck Chip” boosts the power of your engine by altering the pump settings, timing and turbo settings.

This results in a change to the torque curve, increasing it by a massive 20% Extra torque reduces the throttle movement, this combined with a reduction in gear changes can add up to an enormous 10% saving on fuel.






EPROM Chip Change



The EDC is removed from the engine and opened. The fuel control EPROM chip is then removed from the circuit board and read on a special chip reader. The fuel map is reprogrammed and flashed onto the new EPROM chip. This is then remounted onto the board using specialist temperature and time set Hot Air Blowing equipment and the EDC is refitted to the truck.

Fitting time is generally 2-3 hours.

External Fitting Powerchip



This involves the fitting of a compact box containing a small microprocessor. A 4-wire loom is used that connects to wires that run between the EDC and the pump. Generally fitted close to the EDC. Most of these are mounted inside the driver’s cab.

Fitting time is generally 45 to 610 minutes.
